 This large 3 bedroom luxurious beach villa is ideally situated in the Spanish beach resort of Estrella de Mar, with direct front line access to the Mar Menor, a warm 20-30C, safe, shallow mineral-rich lagoon with renowned restorative properties, separated from the Mediterranean by the La Manga peninsula.

 Estrella de Mar is a very popular residential location surrounded by beautiful well-kept gardens. It offers easy access to the famous La Manga strip / La Manga Sports Club and the outstanding National Park of Calblanque, as well as many other local attractions, such as the water park in Murcia, Roman theatre at Cartagena and mud baths at Lo Pagan.

 There are several renowned golf courses nearby, Alto Real, La Manga, Roda, Hacienda del Alamo, La Pereleja, La Torre, La Serena, El Valle, Mar Menor, Golf Delux, Hacienda Riquelme, with many of these being designed by former greats such as Seve Ballesteros, Maria Jose Olazabal, and Jack Niklaus. There are golf clubs available at the property for the use of clients.

 Here we have a perfect kitesurfing and windsurfing location, with many water-sports and other activities available nearby. Windsurf schools can be found in the neighbouring town of Los Alcazares, just a 10 minute drive.

 Within just a few minutes’ walk you can reach a variety of tapas bars, cafes and restaurants, and ‘Club de Regatas Mar Menor’, the nearest boating marina in the neighbouring fishing village of Los Urrutias where members of the public are welcome to use the restaurant and sample the local dishes. It also offers water sports activities including sailing classes.

The 2 small local supermarkets are well stocked and just a 5 minute walk from the property. There are large shopping malls and other facilities available within 10-15 minutes North or South in Los Alcazares or Cartagena (Espace Mediterraneo), and it's just under an hour to the city of Murcia.
In Los Alcazares, Mercadona offers easy parking in the free, cool car park above the store or you might choose one of several others on the outskirts of town.

 Within 100m along the promenade is a lovely communal swimming pool and junior playground available to residents or their guests only. There is also an excellent community restaurant with large patio overlooking the sea, to enjoy the summer days, tennis courts, mini-golf, basketball (practice net on complex, full court 5 minutes walk in Los Urrutias), football and table tennis.

 There are 5 bicycles at the property available for exploring the nearby locations, and 5 kayaks for your use. There are also 2 sets of golf clubs, 8 tennis and 8 beach tennis racquets, 4 table tennis bats & lots of other goodies to help keep you active between dips in the pool.

 There is excellent outside living space for al fresco dining, with well–kept, easily maintained private mature gardens, and a large barbecue by the pool.

 The property has parking spaces for 2 cars on the front forecourt, plus a large internal garage accessed via a private driveway and electric gate.


Rejas (security grills), persianas (blinds) and fly screens are fitted throughout.
All rooms have air-conditioning, although a lovely sea breeze means it is rarely needed.
The units can also be used for heating during the cooler months, plus there is additional heating via radiators using bottled gas, and a wood-burning stove in the living room.
The private non-heated swimming pool has an electrically operated cover, but be aware that the swimming pool is not fenced and therefore the property may not be suitable (unless fully supervised) for very young children or non-swimmers, unless you keep the pool cover on.
A paddling pool is available for younger children.

All linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided.
Wifi is available throughout the property.
Entertainment includes flat screen television, dvd player, surround sound speakers.
There is also a selection of books and children’s games. 
There is a safe for laptops / passports / wallets etc.

 The property comprises: 

 3 large double bedrooms, 2 single kangaroo beds in third bedroom - these are beds which have another bed underneath, which could give 4 singles or 2 large doubles as required, 1 full bathroom, 1 shower room, 1 outside shower by the swimming pool and WCs both up and downstairs

 The spacious lounge and dining room, offer beautiful pool and sea views.

 An open plan dining area leads to the kitchen and rear patio / pool area.

 The kitchen has an oven, hob and integrated dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator / freezer. The water filter has a 5 stage filtration process, meaning you will never have to carry bottled water again. The washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the garage, which can be accessed via a door from the hallway and has electrically operated door to front of property.


 A downstairs bedroom and shower room means the property could be suitable for the elderly or infirm.

 First floor accommodation: 

 Large landing with door to balcony /terrace having stunning views of the Mar Menor, private pool and community gardens.

 Master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and doors to the large terrace

 1 further twin bedroom with 2 single kangaroo beds (one bed under the other), potentially sleeping up to 4 people and separate upstairs WC.

Minimum rental period 3 days.

Please allow time for change-over and cleaning, arriving after 16:00 and departing before 11:00.

For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside the house and pets are not allowed.

Final cleaning charge €95 paid locally.
